[[101499|Wollartiges]], feines, elastisches Gewebe mit fülligem [[100849|Griff]] und typischer fein plastischer Schattenlängsrippung, die durch Anwendung von Garnen mit unterschiedlicher Zwirndrehung, eventuell noch angezwirnter Seide, erreicht wird. Wird aus feinen Garnen in der Bindung Double-Leinwand (DT - Double tie), d.h. [[101381|Trikotbindung]], überwiegend in dunklen Farben hergestellt. Wird für Gesellschaftsanzüge und Kostüme verwendet. Die Bezeichnung ist von der Art der Bindung - Double tie abgeleitet.
